ULTRASOUND PREP
For optimal image quality, you will need plenty of amniotic fluid surrounding your baby. This can take time to acquire, so we recommend drinking one gallon of water each day for at least an entire week (ideally two weeks) leading up to your ultrasound appointment.
We also recommend you refrain from eating a large meal in the hour prior to your appointment. Drinking something cold and/or sugary around 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment will help get the baby moving.
